  PUBLIC FORUM: QUEENSLAND THE NEW US BOMBING RANGE.

Brisbane Workers Community Centre – 2 LaTrobe Tce Paddington (behind Biome). 6:30 for 7pm. The US-AUS military exercise, Operation Talisman Sabre 2007, starts in Shoalwater Bay, Central Qld in late May. Approximately 27,000 US and Australian troops will be practicing bombing, raiding, urban warfare etc in Shoalwater Bay, one of Qld’s most pristine environments. What does this mean for Qld and Australia – and what can we do about it? Speakers: Dr. Zohl de Ishtar - Nobel Peace Prize nominee, Adele Goldie – Pine Gap 6, and Shoalwater Peace Convergence speaker.
